The Importance of Knowing Your Niche in Business
Knowing your niche is one of the challenges of most online entrepreneurs that’s why they keep grinding without getting the results that they want for their business.
Building a business is a learning process and you just need to decide to follow what really works. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel because there is really a pattern how to make your business a successful one.
I know it’s tempting to watch those other guys are doing for you to lose focus. Reflect and ask yourself why you cannot get the results that you want for your business?
Are you talking directly to your ideal clients?
Knowing Your Niche:
Who You Should Be Talking To?
So, who you should be talking to? This is where you should first identify your niche. Who are the right people suited and can relate to the product or services you are offering?
It doesn’t matter what kind of product you are selling, the most important is to talk to the right people who needs your product.
Definitely that you do not want to work with anyone. Do you?
What if that person will ruin your team or community because all they do is complain and bash you & they
bring negative energy to you and to your business if you are not selective enough.
You are welcoming everyone even if they are not the right fit for your business. Most business owners are spending a lot of money on advertising without spending the time in knowing their business niche.
Knowing Who You Are is crucial in designing & building a successful business.
How To Select The Right Niche For You?
Let me share with you how I selected my niche.
I simply dig down knowing who I am.
I wrote everything on a piece of paper anything about myself. From the things that I love doing, my past experiences, things that I am good at, things that I enjoy helping others, favorite, my previous job experiences and I draw 3 circles to find my sweet spot on the 3 things that I love, good at and enjoy helping people (refer to below screenshot).
I found that my sweet spot is helping and leading people to start their own business.
First, I spent 16 years of my life in building two multi-million dollar business totally from scratch – one in Vietnam and another one in Thailand.
And my no. 1 strength that I found after taking the Clifton Strength finder 2.0 is futuristic. With this, instead of helping people to build a traditional mainstream business, I just instead help people to take advantage of what the technology can give us by building a business that you can scale online, reach potential customers online and a business that can make you money even when you are sleeping (opens 24/7-365days).
This is why I end up helping future entrepreneurs to build their own business and develop their own skills for money to become the by-product of what they do for them not to depend on anyone or anything when it comes to money making – this is an insight into the so called Design Your Future!
